Johannes Kepler
Johannes Kepler was born in Germany in 1571. In Brahes dead 1601 took Kepler his place as emperors astronomer and could use Brahes data of space. Kepler did also believe that the sun was in the centrum. He wanted to work out the planets orbits around the sun. Kepler was convinced about that the planets belong together in a special way.
He found out that the planets doesn´t move in circles round the sun, in stead they move in elliptical orbits. He also discovered that the planets move in different speeds round the sun. It was not easy to count out everything because the planets move all the time and he counted all by hand. He could describe the solar system easily with some mathematical rules that was called Keplers laws.
